The picture relates to all the girl characters in my novel. At birth they are labeled as ‘Marriage Material’. Mariam was forced into being a wife at a young age, and suffered many things a young women shouldnt have too. In this book all women are labeled as house wives at a very young age, and all men are either labeled as one of two things, 1; War hero, 2; useless. Ahmand and Noor are labeled war heros, and Babi is labeled useless, only because he has a good education and is devoted to making his daughter have a good one too. This book is full of labels , another one would be; Laila and Tariq’s friendship. they grew up together nad of course somewhere along the way they fell in love, not that anyone knows this. At this time most marriages were arranged, people didnt just happen to fall in love. As they grew older people started to label them as being sinful because they were so close.
